Catastrophic injury is one involving death, paralysis, brain injuries, burns, or any other significant and permanent impairment of bodily or mental function. With injury claims, too often the focus gets limited to damages, or money. I learned long ago, that with every injury claim, it is important to establish goals for recovery as soon as possible. That gives us something to work for. Money represents more than damages. It represents the resources to restore the highest level of function and dignity possible.
